Dr. Park Ji Hyun is currently a researcher at the Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation. As the head of the research on National Assessment of Educational Achievement, Park is in charge of the overall transition to computer based evaluation (CBT) and national assessment of educational achievement development and research. As an expert in mathematics, Park is responsible for evaluating South Korea’s international mathematical achievement assessment and contributing in establishing course-oriented evaluation in schools. Park also used his various experience in educational evaluation to publish multiple research papers on characteristics of students’ mathematical achievements, how to improve the mathematics learning process and evaluation as well as publishing multiple books on mathematical education. Furthermore, Park has given lectures on mathematical education to multiple universities and given numerous lectures in mathematics and evaluation.
