Ms. Wajiha Qamar is currently the Parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, Pakistan. She is Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan. She is also member of the standing committees on Commerce, Housing and Works, Narcotics Control, and Task Force. Prior to her current portfolios, she has worked in the capacity of Member Board of Advisory for the Digital Pulse where she contributed connecting policy making circles for growing national support and visibility and engaging the youth in the process. Prior to that she also worked with the Center of Strategic and Contemporary Affairs where she exclusively leveraged awareness campaigns and sessions on CVE. She also performed as Member Board of Advisory for the Center for Sustainability, Research, and Practice. She graduated from the Lahore College for Women, and Pakistan Institute of Fashion Design, Lahore, Pakistan.
