Mr. Mohyuddin Ahmed Wani is currently serving as the Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, Pakistan. An experienced member of the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) with a 22-years long history of serving in top management positions in the public sector, he brings his vast expertise and enthusiasm to each of his professional roles. Prior to his current appointment, he served as the Chief Operations Officer at the National Disaster Risk Management Fund. He was also Director General in Punjab of the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), South Asia’s largest social safety & welfare program. He served for 4 years in the Prime Minister’s Office as a Joint Secretary, where his primary responsibilities were supervising all the Prime Minister Office’s official communications and providing strategic direction regarding the PM Office’s communication strategy and media relations. His other experiences including working on governance projects with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), serving as Secretary of Information, Culture and Archaeology in Punjab, serving Managing Director (MD) of the Punjab Education Foundation (PEF), and several other senior management level roles at the provincial and federal levels. He graduated with an LLM from the University of Warwick, England and with a Master’s in Development Studies from the Institute of Social Studies, Netherlands. He did his Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering Technology (UET) Lahore.
