Senior Research Associate at the University of Cambridge, Senior Research Associate at the EdTech Hub

Dr Louis Major is a Senior Research Associate at the University of Cambridge’s Faculty of Education. He is interested in digital technology’s role in the future of education. Specifically, Louis’ research investigates how technology can enable new models of education, address educational disadvantage, and better prepare learners for life and work in the C21st. Louis is part of the EdTech Hub research team that is investigating how culturally appropriate uses of technology can lead to better learning outcomes for children in low-income countries. He is also Principal Researcher for the Digital Education Futures Initiative (DEFI) in Cambridge where he directs the ‘Innovation Lab’. Louis is an Editor of the British Journal of Educational Technology.
